Getting Started

Masai School was cofounded by Prateek Shukla (Prateek), Nrupul Dev (Nrupul), and Yogesh Bhat (Yogesh). The objective was to fill India’s coding-specific skill gap by offering a coding bootcamp that offered learning programs to create skilled IT professionals. The Training Program

Masai School set out on a mission to bridge the skill gap with its training programs on Full-Stack Development, Android Development, and Backend Development. The school catered to full-timers as well as to part-timers and offered flexible fee payment options. The training model was divided into 100 hours each of coding, math learning, data structures, and soft skills. The school operated six days a week, between 9 am and 9 pm at its Bengaluru and Patna centers. The mode of instruction was via Zoom, Github, Slack , and Daily Scrum at the physical centers..

Student Support Programs

Masai School students not only received training support but also living and financial support during their program. The school initiated two types of student support programs – the Income Share Agreement Model and the Glide Program – to help selected candidates so that they could concentrate only on learning during the duration of the program..

Future Plans

Masai School’s various coding programs, the Glide Program, and the ISA model together helped many students achieve their IT dreams. As of February 2021, about 200 students had graduated from Masai School since its inception and of these, about 88% had been placed...
